About Our Silicone Sponge Tubing
Silicone is the perfect material choice for a variety of applications across many industries. This is because it has many properties that help it to stand out among other materials.
Silicone sponge’s popularity stems from the fact that it offers all the benefits of solid silicone rubber; its unique cellular structure allows for better sealing at lower compression forces.
Silicone is made up of a chain of silicon and oxygen atoms, as opposed to the normal carbon and hydrogen molecules of other rubber. This silicone structure helps to give unique adaptability to the silicone foam tubes.
As standard, our silicone sponge is manufactured to ISO 3302-1:2014 E3 tolerances. However, in some circumstances, if required, we may be able to achieve a tighter tolerance. Contact us and we can help you out with any queries that you may have.

- From 3mm minimum wall thickness
- Up to a maximum 85mm outside diameter

Silicone foam has very low water absorption properties, this is why it’s commonly used for items like gaskets and sealants.
Closed cell. Silicone is a closed cell, this means that things like water, dust and moisture cannot enter the cell structure of the material due to the lack of connectivity.
