A New Face for Ivy Arch Road
In 2026 the rear of our main building, which overlooks the railway line, was transformed by the artist Horace. The mural wraps the Viking Extrusions sign in two larger-than-life Viking figures, turning a plain brick wall into a landmark for everyone passing by train.

Three Decades in the Making
Founded
Viking Extrusions was incorporated on 1st August 1991. Directors Rob and Pete opened the doors at the Ford Lane Industrial Estate, Viking's very first home.
Early Years
The fledgling business gets to work. With just two extruders and a small but dedicated team, Viking begins building its reputation for quality short runs and bespoke profiles.
Growing Fast
Ford Lane Industrial Estate, 1993. Viking is two years old. The team and equipment are expanding, and a move to a larger site is already on the horizon.
ISO 9001 & Ivy Arch Road
A landmark year: Viking achieved ISO 9001 Quality Management certification, one of the UK's earliest silicone manufacturers to do so, and moved into the current Ivy Arch Road facility.
ISO 14001 Certified
Reflecting our commitment to environmental responsibility, Viking achieved ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification, continuing a 30-year journey of continuous improvement.
