About Our Silicone Sponge Cord
Silicone sponge is the go-to material of multiple different industries thanks to its many advantageous features. One of the key features is that a silicone sponge offers all the same benefits as solid silicone rubber whilst its unique cellular structure allows for better sealing at lower compression forces.
Silicone sponge is given its cellular structure by the blowing agent’s additives that it contains. These additives also give the silicone sponge its natural off white colour. We can, however, pigment our silicone sponge cords to pretty much any colour, if that is what you require.
In addition to supplying high-quality silicone sponge cords in the coil, we can also supply cords that are cut to any length you may require, or even joined into rings and formed gaskets.
Our brilliant silicone sponge cord also offers phenomenal resistance in a variety of environments. As well as this the cords also feature excellent temperature ranges and also UV and ozone resistance.
