BISCO® BF-1000 and BF-2000 Extra and ultra soft silicone are exceptionally flame resistant materials, making them ideal for sealing outdoor enclosures and safeguarding electronics from shock and heat by providing cushioning and vibration isolation. These materials have outstanding memory and low stress relaxation, which minimise maintenance costs from gaskets failing due to compression set. The extra softness of these materials allows designers to use less force when sealing enclosures, while still protecting devices from the environment. BF-1000 and BF-2000 offer superior isolation for electronic components and transportation vehicles. They are prefect for manufacturing environmental seals to prevent dust, moisture air or light penetration into outdoor enclosures such as HVAC units, lighting fixtures and electronic cabinets.
